Best Time of Day to Visit – Early morning or late afternoon during the hotter months

Best Season to Visit – Spring and autumn are ideal

Notes – The beach is quite open with limited natural shade. Bring plenty of drinking water, a beach umbrella and, of course, your pup's favourite ball. If you're feeling adventurous, bring the paddle board too!

Reactive Dog Notes – Usually fairly quiet at the far end, but other dogs may be around, so keeping reactive dogs on a lead is recommended.

Kobe's Tip

Head to the far end of the beach where other dog owners tend to go. There's very little natural shade, so bring plenty of water and an umbrella — and don't forget the ball! Please be aware that signs state dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Why This Adventure Is Special

Geroskipou Beach is one of those adventures where we don't really need a plan. I can chase my ball, investigate all the interesting smells along the beach, cool off with a swim and even head out on the paddle board with my human. Then, when all that adventuring gets a little exhausting, there's nothing better than stretching out under the umbrella and watching the world go by.

Some adventures are all about exploring somewhere new, but Geroskipou Beach is one of those places I already know is going to be a good day. As soon as we arrived, there was plenty of sniffing to be done before the serious business of ball chasing could begin.

And I LOVE my ball.

There was loads of space to run around, chase it across the beach and investigate all those interesting seaside smells in between throws. Naturally, I also had to make time for a swim in the Mediterranean. A Cavapoo has to cool those paws somehow!

But today's adventure wasn't staying entirely on dry land.

I climbed aboard the paddle board with my human and headed out for a little ride. Sea underneath me, sunshine above me and my human doing all the hard work — personally, I think I've got paddle boarding completely figured out.

Once we'd finished swimming, paddling and playing ball, it was time for another of my favourite beach activities: doing absolutely nothing.

I settled underneath the beach umbrella, cooled down and watched everything happening around me. After all, somebody has to supervise the beach.

There are signs saying dogs aren't allowed on the beach, so my humans take me down towards the far end, where other people also tend to take their dogs. We always make sure we're respectful, keep out of everyone's way and have my lead ready when needed.

Ball chasing, swimming, paddle boarding and then relaxing underneath an umbrella with my humans...

10/10 from me. That's a proper Kobe adventure. 🤎🐾
